According to Adam Fuchs (full commentary available at the link below) the current euro position is mainly threatened by a strong dollar and the declining resilience of the European economy to unforeseen crises. About the euro (EUR) – basic information
The euro (€) is the official currency of the eurozone, used in 20 EU member states. It was introduced in cashless form in 1999, and banknotes and coins entered circulation on January 1, 2002. The European Central Bank (ECB) in Frankfurt am Main is responsible for monetary policy in the eurozone. The euro to zloty rate (EUR/PLN) is crucial for the Polish economy, directly affecting import and export costs, fuel prices, and consumer goods.
