Janusz Palikot has already taken the first step toward creating the new media outlet he intends to run. The YouTube channel “JestemPalikot” was launched on March 6, 2026. Since then, he has gained 2.71 thousand subscribers (data as of 8:25 pm, April 25, 2026). Up to now, the channel has posted 133 videos. Most of them are so‑called shorts, i.e., short clips, often fragments of longer formats.
Regarding longer formats, so far 12 have been uploaded to the YouTube channel. Among them are recordings where Janusz Palikot cooks. But that’s not all. The channel’s creator has also conducted several interviews. Among his interviewees were former Polish presidents Bronisław Komorowski and Lech Wałęsa. The channel’s total views up to the time of writing have reached over 1 million 232 thousand views. According to estimates from SocialBlade, the channel generates between $200 and $4 000, i.e., roughly 800 zł to 14 000 zł per month.
Formally, the owner of the “JestemPalikot” channel is not Janusz Palikot himself, but his son, who is set to take over the copyright for the content appearing there from his father.
Janusz Palikot wants to share profits
The former politician is looking for investors who would join the project. “Let’s make ash and diamond” – announces Janusz Palikot, suggesting that after expanding the channel, the ash will come from current non‑objective media, while the diamond will signify a “golden business” he encourages people to join.
According to “Fakt”, Janusz Palikot offers 50% of the company’s shares for an investment of 1.2 million zł. The channel’s creator also plans to accept smaller amounts for smaller share packages.
The idea behind creating a new online TV station is to share future profits with investors. They will receive 120 thousand zł of monthly profit for an investment of 200 thousand zł, amounting to 1.5 million zł annually. These estimates are based on the earnings of other popular Polish YouTube channels.
Imprisonment and prosecutorial charges
Guests of Janusz Palikot, including Bronisław Komorowski and Lech Wałęsa, apparently were not deterred by the fact that the channel’s creator faces up to 20 years in prison for fraud he allegedly committed against investors who trusted him in previous ventures. The channel’s creator, the prosecutor has filed a total of nine fraud charges against him, harming a thousand people. Investigators determined that the company from the Manufaktura Piwa Wódki i Wina group misled investors about the company’s financial condition. The total amount that harmed investors amounts to over 13 million zł.
Recall that after the first charges were filed, Janusz Palikot was sent to prison, where he spent four months. He was released after paying a 2 million zł bail, which was financed by third parties, not by the detainee himself.
