Tensions on the USA-Iran-Israel line are not easing
Donald Trump announced that the United States is "on the last stage" of negotiations with Iran.
"We will see, what happens", he said in a Wednesday interview with journalists.
"Either we reach an agreement, or we will take certain actions, which will be somewhat unpleasant. But let us hope it does not happen," he added.
The station CNN, citing the words of a U.S. official, reported that Trump had a "tense" conversation with Benjamin Netanyahu on Tuesday.
The Israeli prime minister is said to be frustrated by ongoing talks with Iran because he advocates a more decisive approach toward Tehran.
Moreover, sources say that Netanyahu is to emphasize that prolonged negotiations are benefiting only Iran.
"During the hour-long conversation, Netanyahu pressed for the resumption of military actions – an Israeli source familiar with the situation reported. The difference in positions was clear: Trump wants to see if an agreement can be reached, but Netanyahu expected something else – an Israeli official said," CNN reports.
"The source said that there is a strong desire in the upper echelons of the Israeli government to take new military actions and growing frustration because Trump still allows what they call diplomatic stalling by Iran," we read.
In recent weeks, Trump has repeatedly changed his stance on attacks on Iran, canceling, among other things, military actions planned for Tuesday.

CNN emphasizes that U.S. officials in the past admitted that the United States and Israel have different goals regarding the war with Iran.
Trump, asked what he said to the Israeli prime minister during the conversation, replied: "I will do everything, what I expect from him".
According to assurances from the spokesperson of the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Tehran and Washington still exchange views through Pakistan.
"Based on the preliminary 14-point document presented by Iran, messages have been exchanged multiple times; we received the U.S. position and are currently analyzing it," said Esmaeil Baqaei.
It is expected that the obstacle in negotiations remains the nuclear ambitions of Tehran.
