Over 6 million PLN in total were earned by the supervisory board members and the board of directors of the Dino Group, according to Money.pl. The former earned a total of 738 thousand PLN. Interestingly, among them is the majority shareholder, Tomasz Biernacki, who owns 51% of the shares and did not receive a salary for serving on the supervisory board in 2025. Recall that Tomasz Biernacki is one of the richest Poles. His wealth is estimated at 19 billion PLN, which, according to “Forbes”, places him second on the list of the richest Poles, only behind Michał Sołow.

Dino employees fight for raises and better working conditions

The saga mentioned at the beginning of the text has been ongoing for several months. It all started in February of this year, when information about the conditions under which the network’s staff must work circulated in the public. At that time, it emerged that the temperature in some stores was only 8 degrees Celsius. Politicians took an interest, sending the State Labour Inspection to the company, which found numerous irregularities.

Since then, employee protests began, demanding not only improved working conditions, including hiring additional staff to relieve the current workforce, but also a salary increase of 900 PLN. So far, the company’s authorities have agreed to a raise of 300 PLN.

This week, Dino employees, together with trade union representatives and worker rights organizations, began a protest outside the main headquarters of Dino in Krotoszyn, demanding a meeting with the company’s board. Such talks have not yet taken place.
