Almost 6,000 guests, a record number of speakers and 7 stages dedicated to technology, AI, marketing, and inspiring startups. The anniversary, largest edition yet of the Infoshare festival is, above all, the energy of people who come for knowledge, new contacts, and business inspiration.
The ceremonial opening of the 20th edition of the Infoshare festival gathered distinguished guests and several thousand viewers at the Gdańsk Amber Expo. Grzegorz Borowski, CEO and co‑founder of Infoshare used the occasion to recap the journey this event has taken – from an IT enthusiasts’ gathering at the Gdańsk University of Technology to one of the largest technology‑business events in Central‑Eastern Europe.
“Since the first conference in 2007 we have hosted over 72,000 participants and nearly 2,000 speakers, even from Australia. And the number of stages that have emerged in that time exceeds 100. In all of this, the most important are the exceptional people,” said Borowski.
Support for Polish entrepreneurship
At the opening ceremony, Gdańsk Mayor Aleksandra Dulkiewicz was present, emphasizing Infoshare’s uniqueness and how 20 years of conference experience help drive the technological revolution both in Gdańsk and across Poland. A special video message from Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Affairs Krzysztof Gawkowski was also broadcast.
“Today innovation is no longer just an option. It is a condition of competitiveness for the state, the economy, and companies. The real question is not whether to implement new technologies, but how to do it wisely, quickly, safely, and of course responsibly,” said Gawkowski.
During the opening of Infoshare, a historic moment also took place. A letter of intent for cooperation to promote innovation and strengthen the competitiveness of the Polish economy was ceremoniously signed. The letter was signed by:

Knowledge and inspiration
The 7 stages of this year’s Infoshare filled with dozens of talks and presentations that became inspiration for further meetings and conversations among participants. The audience was first ignited by a conversation with writer Jacek Dukaj about the end of the word era, the impact of AI on human‑system relationships, and a vision of the world ten years from now.
Each stage was distinguished by its theme, allowing participants to move between talks, discussions, and workshops on using AI and modern marketing, delve into deep tech topics, or listen to inspiring startup stories. This year, a record 221 speakers, panelists, and hosts with diverse specialisations presented. One of the elements that has distinguished Infoshare from other tech events for years is the extensive networking space and business relationship building. This year’s edition hosted over 2,500 one‑on‑one business meetings. As a result, the festival is a place where it is easier to make contact, and relationships turn into ideas, projects, and partnerships.
Startups awarded at Infoshare 2026
Infoshare has long created a space for promoting young companies from Pomerania and all of Poland. Nearly 200 companies entered two startup competitions this year, with a prize pool of 180,000 PLN. The jury selected 20 finalists who presented in the special InnovationVillage zone and had the opportunity to meet potential investors and forge new business relationships.
The main prize of the Gdansk Bay Tech Ecosystem Startup Competition 2026 went to Rattlesnake, a Gdańsk‑based company building modern and economical drone‑threat‑fighting systems.
In the nationwide startup competition at Infoshare, the winner was Uhura Bionics, which builds innovative speech‑generation devices, extremely useful for people who have lost their voice, e.g. due to cancer or laryngeal surgery. The special award went to Spineo, which creates solutions that improve posture.

Twenty years of building a tech community
The 20th edition of Infoshare was also an opportunity for celebration and reflection. In addition to the cake, the organisers prepared a jubilee film. It tells the story of how four friends – Grzegorz Borowski, Tomasz Pawul, Andrzej Kiesz, and Marcin Pokojski – built something more than another dull IT conference. They built a community. They built a place people return to every year. Real relationships and experience exchange.

This year’s anniversary edition of Infoshare was not only a celebration of technology but also proof of how much the startup and innovation ecosystem has grown in Poland and Central‑Eastern Europe over two decades. The Gdańsk festival has firmly entered the industry calendar as a place where people shaping the future of technology and the digital economy meet.
