11th anniversary of The Witcher 3. What does CDR hide?
Shares of CD Projekt, the Polish producer and distributor of computer games, were highlighted in red on the 11th anniversary of the release of the game "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt".
Earlier, investors fired up the price in anticipation of surprises prepared by the company for this event.
Fans of the Witcher universe therefore expect similar experiences that CDR delivered last year for the "round" release of the cult title.
"Thanks to cooperation with partners, the sale will include, among others, the Immerse Gamepack set for The Witcher 3 from Embody, a unique comic titled Little Witcher, a collection of occasion-themed Witcher illustrations and more," the team conveyed at the time.
Also this year the market expects that CDR will finally fill the realm of speculation with new releases.
Mateusz Chrzanowski, a Noble Securities stock analyst, recently told FXMAG that May 19 could again take a special place in investors’ calendars.
"You can probably expect some information in May around the anniversary of the W3 release, but further marketing materials will likely appear in the first week of June at an event organized by Xbox," the expert said at the time.

Also Grzegorz Gawkowski, a stock analyst at the Bank Millenium Brokerage Office, stated that in his view the "market really expects CD Projekt to show something new from the Witcher universe in the coming months".
"In May the 11th anniversary of The Witcher 3 release falls, and additionally at the end of the month CD Projekt will publish results for 1Q'25, which naturally increases the space for communication with investors and players," he said.
The analyst also emphasized that it would be very difficult for him to point to a specific event during which CDR would reach for the awaited new releases, such as DLC for The Witcher 3.
Thus he referred to speculation about potential announcements that CD Projekt might make during the May Digital Dragons conference or the June Summer Game Fest.
"Of course, Summer Game Fest seems like a natural place from a global marketing reach perspective, but the company could also decide on its own communication or use another occasion such as financial results or the Witcher anniversary", he added.
