The session across the ocean proceeded in a slightly better style – after opening just below the line, the indices again moved into modest gains during the day. Investors continue to believe in a positive resolution of the Middle East conflict. Despite further attacks by Israel on Lebanon, President Donald Trump again assesses that an agreement with Iran could be reached within a week.
In the country, the focus was on the RPP meeting. As expected, the Council left interest rates unchanged. According to the post‑meeting statement, given the current macroeconomic conditions and uncertainty about the further development of the geopolitical situation and its impact on the RPP economy, the Council decided to keep rates unchanged. It was noted that further decisions will depend on incoming information about inflation and economic activity prospects in Poland.
More details on the future monetary policy outlook in our country will be known on Wednesday at 3:00 p.m. when President Adam Glapiński of the NBP holds a press conference.
From a macroeconomic calendar perspective, at the start of the session we will see the final PMI readings for services from Europe. More important will be the analogous ISM data for U.S. services, which, according to market consensus, should show a stabilization of the business cycle in the sector accounting for about two‑thirds of the U.S. GDP.
Investors may also pay attention to the ADP employment report for May, ahead of the official payroll data published on Friday.
Additionally, it will remain important whether new information will flow into the market that changes investors’ assessment of the likelihood of a quick end to the war between the U.S. and Iran.

After the transaction, Cyber_Folks will remain the largest shareholder of Vercom, holding 6,668,164 shares, representing 30 % of the share capital and the total number of votes at the general meeting. Cyber_Folks will continue to consolidate Vercom’s results in consolidated financial statements.
