Peace in the Middle East pushed back
The United States carried out new attacks on Iran on Tuesday, June 9, reports Bloomberg.
The U.S. Central Command announced that U.S. forces "attacked Iranian air defense, ground control stations and radar stations near the Strait of Hormuz using precision munitions from U.S. Air Force and Navy fighters."
The event occurred after Donald Trump accused Tehran of shooting down a U.S. military helicopter off the coast of Oman.
The Republican stated on Truth Social that Iran is responsible for the disaster that "cannot remain unanswered".
"We just received information from our armed forces that last night Iranians shot down one of our most advanced helicopters Apache during a patrol over the Strait of Hormuz," he reported.
"There were two pilots on board; both are fine and healthy. Nevertheless, the United States must react to this attack", he added.
As CENTCOM informed, "the operation was a proportional response to recent attacks on U.S. forces and international commercial vessels passing through the region's waters."
"U.S. forces remain vigilant and ready to defend against unjustified aggression from Iran," the message read.
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi warned the United States of further attacks.
"Despite setbacks on the battlefield, the United States has decided to test our determination. Our powerful armed forces will not leave any attack or threat unanswered," he posted on X.
"If you want to be safe, leave our region. The history of the Persian Gulf contains many chapters devoted to the tragic fates of outsiders from the outside," he added.

Dollar and euro rates on Wednesday, June 10
The dollar to zloty rate on Wednesday, June 10 is at 3,67 PLN.
The forecast from ING Think assumes that, in addition to geopolitical events, macroeconomic factors will also influence dollar and euro rates in the coming days.
"Last week the focus was on the strength of the U.S. labor market, and this week the market will focus on U.S. price data. We start on Wednesday with the CPI, and on Thursday we will see the PPI," the economists said.
"It seems the market is prepared for solid data in this area and for a much less dovish FOMC meeting next week," they added.
