While Bitcoin enjoys greater interest as a reserve asset, the Ethereum ecosystem remains vibrant and highly utilitarian. Given that the ETH/BTC ratio is near multi‑year lows, the current divergence appears cyclical rather than structural.
The biggest driver of value growth for both assets will likely be regulatory clarity. Progress on the CLARITY Act would reduce uncertainty and attract new institutional capital. While Bitcoin would benefit from further reserve asset adoption, Ethereum could regain momentum as investors refocus on the utility of blockchain technology, tokenization, and on‑chain financial activity.
The recent correction seems more a healthy adjustment than a cause for concern. Leverage remains relatively low, volatility is modest, and key support levels persist – Ethereum is supported in the $1,900–$2,000 range. In the long term, increasing tokenization of real assets, macroeconomic stabilization, and advances on the CLARITY Act could bring capital back to Ethereum, fostering a gradual recovery of the ETH/BTC ratio in the coming months.
