Oil prices test investors' appetite for risk while BTC stays above $81,000

Bitcoin remains above the 81,000 USD level despite renewed pressure on global risk markets caused by rising oil prices and inflation concerns. The inflow of funds into ETF funds and the persistent positioning of institutional investors help stabilize the BTC price, even when oil prices swing between 92–100 USD due to supply uncertainty from the Middle East.

The market is currently watching whether Bitcoin can maintain its growth pace toward the 85,000 USD level, provided macroeconomic conditions remain stable.

Ethereum continues to underperform Bitcoin in relative terms, trading in the 2320–2330 dollar range, although network activity and second‑layer solution development still support the entire ecosystem. A key level for ETH remains above 2400 dollars, whose breach would signal a return of greater risk appetite among large‑cap digital assets.

Gold prices fell to the 4680–4700 dollar range as rising oil prices increase inflation expectations and weaken forecasts for decisive interest rate cuts. Markets react to changes in commodity, interest rate, and cryptocurrency prices as a whole, not treating them as separate instruments. This shift favors demand for investment strategies that span various asset classes, especially during periods of heightened volatility in oil, gold, equities, and digital assets.
