Bank representatives assure that the work will be carried out to enhance the security and functionality of services available to customers. To avoid surprise, the bank informs in advance about inconveniences that may arise. These may occur from 23:30 on Saturday, May 30 to 7:00 on Sunday, May 31. ING Bank Śląski advises everyone who might need banking services during this time to schedule financial operations earlier or after the specified period. This will prevent disappointment if any service fails to work.
Problems for individual and business customers
The maintenance scheduled for the upcoming weekend will cause difficulties for all ING Bank Śląski customers, both those with personal and business accounts.
Issues may arise already when logging into the bank’s online services, as well as the mobile app, for both individual and business customers. These are not the only problems that may appear due to maintenance. Among them may also be, for example, interruptions in BLIK payments and express transfers. Disruptions may also occur during online payments made via the Pay with ING service, and during transactions using cards online that require confirmation in the app or via SMS code.
List of ING Bank Śląski services that may not function properly during maintenance:
- Online banking system Moje ING and its mobile version,
- Online banking system ING Business and its mobile version,
- Online payments via Pay with ING,
- BLIK payments,
- Express transfers,
- Automatic toll fee collection on highways,
- Online card payments with 3DSecure, i.e., those requiring additional confirmation in the app or a one‑time SMS code,
- Special PSD2 interface,
- Transactions in the deposit box that may be processed offline.
Customers may also encounter problems when attempting to purchase one of the products offered, including loans or opening accounts, such as savings accounts.
The bank asks for patience
As ING Bank Śląski emphasized, the maintenance scheduled for the upcoming weekend aims to improve customer security and increase the functionality of tools available to them. The bank requests patience, suggesting that the best approach is to perform all schedulable operations before the technical break starts or after it ends.
In urgent situations, such as the need to block a card or account, the bank asks you to contact the hotline.
