XBT, the FinTech cannon that enters and exits
Viewing XTB as just a "broker" in May 2026 is definitely wrong; first‑quarter results are a demonstration of strength, with PLN 535 million net profit versus a consensus of PLN 498 million, a figure that silences skeptics. Moreover, the client acquisition dynamics are downright aggressive: over 370,000 new users in the quarter (a 90% YoY increase) and a base exceeding 1.26 million active accounts form a foundation investors should not ignore.
The board’s 2026 ambitions are clear – acquire an average of 250,000‑290,000 new clients quarterly. April data, indicating over 100,000 new accounts, confirm that XTB is now a machine running at full tilt. The company pushes boundaries by introducing new long‑term investment products, margin trading, and extended trading hours. XTB is now a tech ecosystem that monetizes every second of investor attention.
On 10 May, XTB’s share price was PLN 100.52.

CD Projekt – The Witcher pipeline and nerve‑wracking expectations
Although the release of The Witcher 4 is approaching each month, Red’s work remains largely foundational. The fourth quarter of FY 2025 delivered PLN 174.2 million net profit, simultaneously beating analyst forecasts (97.4 million PLN was expected).
CD Projekt’s success stems from the enduring popularity of “Cyberpunk 2077” with the “Wraith of Freedom” DLC, which was effectively captured by the upcoming card game and an anime series that still enjoys strong Netflix viewership. The stellar financial result also owes to the immortal “Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.” Yet investors buy promises, not the past.
By the end of February, the Polaris (Witcher 4) project already had 499 developers, while the Cyberpunk sequel team grew to 149 people (Red is currently recruiting quest writers).
A key speculation driver is the incentive program assuming PLN 2 billion net profit from 2023‑2026. This goal is not just ambitious but almost extreme. Achieving it may require the company to pull a hidden ace, i.e., launch an undisclosed project this year. That’s why speculation about a Witcher 3 DLC has emerged.
On 10 May, CD Projekt’s share price was PLN 260.80.

Dino Polska – the scaling machine
Dino is a phenomenon proving that retail trade still has room for brutal dominance. 2025 reports show revenue of PLN 7.4 billion in Q1, a 10.2% YoY increase. While LFL sales growth was modest at 0.5%, the scale of expansion commands respect. The Dino network now includes 2,746 stores, and the pace of new market openings remains steady.
Investors value Dino not only for its near‑mathematical precision in selecting new store locations but also for its energy self‑sufficiency. The company effectively protects margins in a tough inflationary period while engaging in aggressive price wars among market leaders.
On 10 May, Dino’s share price was PLN 30.39.

Orlen – the dividend‑driven giant
After announcing 2024 results (net profit PLN 7.95 billion), Orlen confirmed that the transition to green energy is not just PR but real business. The most effective magnet for investors remains a generous dividend policy, rare in times of geopolitical chaos. The board recommended a dividend of PLN 6 per share, which at current valuations offers a very attractive yield.
The extraction and gas segment remains the main profit generator, accounting for a lion’s share of EBITDA, but investments in offshore wind farms and refinery modernization build long‑term value.
Orlen is now a safe harbor for capital seeking exposure to energy transformation while still not abandoning real cash in the form of dividends.
Orlen’s share price on 10 May was PLN 140.30.
