Did CD Projekt again crash the Warsaw Stock Exchange? The latest 1Q’26 results show that the Warsaw Witcher is not planning to retire (both figuratively and literally). Instead, Redzi serve investors a financial feast: 191 million PLN in revenue, a new expansion for The Witcher 3, and a Kickstarter‑breaking card game. Will these trump cards be enough to satisfy the picky and demanding GPW players?
Financial foundation, i.e. how much did the White Wolf earn this year?
Investors from Warsaw’s Prince can breathe a sigh of relief. CD PROJEKT Group presented the official 1Q’26 report, proving to skeptics that it can squeeze the last juices from its flagship brands. Consolidated sales revenue reached 191 million PLN, indicating a consolidated 6% increase compared to the same period last year, when it was 180 million PLN. Consolidated net profit for the period was 106 million PLN. Although net profit was slightly lower than last year, market cynics truly have no reason to panic.
Piotr Nielubowicz, CFO of the company, calmly emphasizes:
With the progress of work, from quarter to quarter we increase investment spending on upcoming projects while maintaining a solid level of cash reserves, which at the end of March amounted to 1.4 billion PLN. We are well prepared for further intensification of parallel production of several titles within our great franchises.
The main driving force was stable, long‑tail sales of Cyberpunk 2077 along with the popular expansion Ghost of the Past and clever monetization of the existing portfolio.

Unexpected return to the track: “Song of the Future” on the way
If anyone thought CD Projekt intended to live solely on distant promises about The Witcher 4, yesterday’s reports turned that thinking upside down. The studio officially announced advanced work on a third, full‑blown expansion for the cult classic The Witcher 3 titled “Song of the Past”. The project (confirming leaks) is being developed in collaboration with external studio Fool’s Theory and is set to debut on the market in 2027.
