        What are Virtune instruments?

Virtune ETP (short for Exchange Traded Product) is a new dimension for Polish investors interested in the crypto market. They are financial instruments listed on the exchange that replicate the price of a base asset (a specific crypto currency).

Instruments are 100% physically backed by the base assets, which are stored in cold storage (offline) at Coinbase – one of the most regulated crypto exchanges in the world and the largest global crypto custodian.

        Virtune Bitcoin Prime ETP (ETNVIRBTCP)

An instrument that tracks the price of Bitcoin. It can be a core product for investors wanting to invest in BTC through a regulated exchange instrument. The annual management fee is 0.25%.

        Virtune Staked Ethereum ETP (ETNVIRETH)

A product based on Ethereum that also incorporates staking. This means exposure not only to the price of ETH but also to potential benefits from the staking model.

        Virtune XRP ETP (ETNVIRXRP)

An instrument that provides exposure to the XRP cryptocurrency, primarily used for fast and low‑cost value transfers on the blockchain network.

        Virtune Staked Solana ETP (ETNVIRSOL)

A product linked to Solana. Like Ethereum, it includes a staking element that can affect potential investment returns.

Virtune Coinbase 50 Index ETP (ETNVCOIN50)

This is the most diversified instrument in the offering. It is based on the Coinbase 50 Index Europe (COIN50E), which aims to track the performance of the 50 largest cryptocurrencies in the market. The index currently contains 26 assets (as of 29.04.2026).

Virtune Coinbase 50 Index ETP provides exposure to a wide basket of crypto assets across various market segments, similar to how traditional stock market indices offer diversified exposure to equities. Investing in ETNVCOIN50 can be attractive for investors who prefer diversification.

        What is staking?

Staking is, in simple terms, the process of locking a cryptocurrency to secure the network. Staking is fully secure, and investors receive rewards, i.e., interest.

Investing in crypto without a crypto exchange

All Virtune ETPs can be invested in through a brokerage account. There is no need to open accounts on traditional crypto exchanges or store private keys yourself.

Virtune products are offered by brokerage firms Alior Bank, BOŚ Bank, ING Bank Śląski, and broker XTB (Virtune Coinbase 50 Index ETP will be available soon). This means you only need one brokerage account to invest in crypto, stocks, ETFs, and other assets.

Virtune with five investment products in Poland

Virtune is a Swedish digital asset manager. The company has been registered in Stockholm since 2022. It currently manages assets worth about 310 million USD and has earned the trust of over 160,000 investors across Europe. In addition to the Warsaw exchange, it offers products listed on Nasdaq Stockholm, Nasdaq Helsinki, Deutsche Börse Xetra, and Euronext.

Listing on the GPW is part of a growing trend in Europe where digital assets are increasingly integrated into traditional financial markets through regulated investment instruments. This allows investors to gain exposure to cryptocurrencies not only via crypto exchanges but also through the same systems used for other investments.

        Transaction security

Virtune always stores crypto assets in an external institution in cold storage (offline). The company also appointed a special agent whose role is to protect and represent investors in the firm’s ETPs. In the unlikely event of Virtune’s insolvency or bankruptcy, the agent will take control of the crypto assets, sell them, and then pay the appropriate amount (minus fees) to all ETP holders.
