          The crisis engulfing the Adani group intensified on Monday.

          Adani group company Adani Enterprises Ltd was forced to drop its $2.5 billion share sale last week, with group chairman Gautam Adani losing his crown as Asia's richest person and slipping down the world's rich rankings.

          The crisis was started by Hindenburg Research on January 24, which accused the Adani group of stock manipulation, unsustainable debt and the use of tax havens.
