Important Speeches Of The Day And A Few Data From Canada

Today there are no important reports that could significantly affect the market situation. Today we focus mainly on speeches.
The week started with speeches. The first took place in Australia. At 0:45 CET Jonathan Kearns serves as a Head of Financial Stability of the Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA) spoke. In his speech he provided information on the future of monetary policy.
The next one was at 5:00 CET. Adrian Orr, The Governor of the Reserve Bank of New Zealand, spoke. As a person who is responsible for the country's currency and monetary policy, he provided summaries current activities and tips on the bank's next activities.
Members of the European central bank also make speeches today. The speeches of the ECB's officials often contain references to possible future monetary policy objectives. Supervisory Board Member Edouard Fernandez-Bollo spoke at 9:15 CET.In his speech explained some aspects of financial regulation in the euro area. The next speech is set at 11:00 CET. The speaker will be Luis de Guindos, Vice-President of the European Central Bank. The last speaker will be Andrea Enria, Chair of Supervisory Board of the European Central Bank. He is set to speak at 11:45 CET.
In the afternoon we are waiting for the speeches of representatives of the bank in Germany. German Bundesbank Vice President Book Speaks is set to speak at 15:00 CET. And the last speech of the day is set at 19:00 CET. Burkhard Balz will be speak.
At 13:25 CET, the Central Bank of Brazil will publish the Focus Market Readout.
This report presents weekly average market expectations for inflation in the following month, 12 months and the following year. The report also sets out expectations for the Selic target rate, real GDP growth, public sector net debt / GDP, industrial production growth, current account and trade balance, collected from over 130 banks, brokers and fund managers.
At 14:30 CET, Canada publishes a report on the Industrial Product Price Index from MoM and YoY. The change in the price of domestically produced goods sold by manufacturers MoM has been below zero since June. During the year, only two readings showed negative levels. In June it was at -1.1% and the last reading was at -2.1%. It was the lowest reading of the year. Experts expect the reading to be positive at 0.2%.

At 14:30 PM CET Statistics Canada will publish The Raw Materials Price Index (RMPI) data. The change in the price of raw materials purchased by manufacturers, like IPPI, is below zero from June. In June, the reading was at -0.1%. The last reading from July showed another decline in the price change to -0.7%. The forecasts for the month of August are positive. The RMPI is expected to increase to 3.2%.

If both the IPPI and RMPI forecasts are successful, they will be taken positively for CAD.
France will publish data on 3-, 6- and 12-month Bond Auctions at 15:00 CET.
French BTF bills have a maturity of up to 1 year. Governments issue treasuries to borrow money to cover the difference between the amount they receive in taxes and the amount they spend refinancing existing debt and / or raising capital. The profitability of the BTF represents the return that an investor will receive by holding a treasury throughout its duration. All bidders receive the same bid for the highest accepted bid.
