As we wrote in the weekly calendar on previous Friday, the 10th March will be dominated with European Union’s events. However, it’s good to follow news from the USA, as Core CPI And Initial Job Claims are released as well.

European Union
So, EU Leaders meet at 10 a.m., what’s the first major event of the day. The Summit is followed by releases of Deposit Facility Rate, ECB Marginal Lending Facility, Interest Rate Decision And Monetary Policy Statement. All of these releases take place at 12:45 p.m. Then, after a short break, ECB will speak to media (1:30 a.m.)
USA
US Core CPI (prev. 0.6%) And Initial Jobless Claims Are Released (215K) are presented at the same time – 1:30 a.m.
Japan
Half an hour before midnight investors might focus on Japanese indicators. At 11.30 p.m. Household Spending (MoM And YoY) are released. What’s more? BSI Large Manufacturing Conditions is presented twenty minutes later. This one amounted to 7.9 previously.
Brazil
For those interested in LATAM markets – you’re welcomed to follow news from Brazil as at the midday Retail Sales (YoY and MoM) are released.
